PSU: You've missed Marjaana, haven't you? Since our last episode of SE 500, Beyond: Two Souls saw release, Steven Williamson loved it, and the rest of the industry was pretty torn. For me, it was a visually arresting, highly involved work of fiction, even if the story demanded a few leaps of logic and suspension of disbelief.

Its certainly Quantics best game to date and in terms of presentation and story its certainly an enjoyable experience and a welcome change of pace to the driving / shooting nature of most current AAA titles.

Leviathyn: Beyond is technologically astounding and artfully composed with minimally guided player input, but its a shame when the content in that frame dilutes meaningful substance.

Beyond: Two Souls is a technologically amazing title, with mocap acting that demonstrates high levels of character emotion. But with different paths ultimately leading to the same conclusion, it makes it hard to execute an amazing experience where there is an illusion of choice.
